Green Leaf Cooking is provided by Christopher Lewis, a sole trader trading as Green Leaf Cooking, for personal household meal planning. The postal and support details below identify the service operator. These terms explain the service and its optional paid membership.
What the app provides
You can plan dinners, generate a shopping list and use the recipe information available to your account. Premium adds the features shown on the membership page, including larger weekly plans, the full recipe methods, Stock tracking, household sharing and optional AI tools. Internet access is needed for sign-in, synchronisation, payments and AI requests. Some previously saved information is available offline; offline access has limits.
Accounts and shared households
Keep your sign-in details secure and your account information accurate. People who join your household can change shared plans, shopping, Stock and shared recipe edits. Only share the household code with people you trust. Shared Premium depends on the household owner's current entitlement; invited members do not need their own subscription for that shared household.
Food safety and estimates
Recipes, nutrition figures, suggested quantities and Stock dates are planning information. Check actual pack labels, allergens, use-by dates, after-opening guidance and the safe storage and cooking requirements for the ingredients you use. The app does not manage allergies or provide dietary, medical or emergency advice. Take appropriate professional advice where needed. Nothing here removes your rights if a paid service is not supplied with the care and quality the law requires.
AI tools and recipe edits
Photo scanning, Create from Stock and ingredient-swap suggestions can be incomplete or wrong. Review detections, quantities, substitutions and cooking instructions before accepting or using them. Generated drafts and AI edits are labelled. The ability to restore an edit does not establish that a generated instruction is safe. The curated recipe catalogue and AI-generated suggestions are different sources of information.
Premium prices and automatic renewal
The available prices are £3.99 per month or £29.99 per year, in GBP, with any applicable tax included in the displayed price. Annual membership is billed once a year. Choose the plan before confirming at Stripe checkout. The selected amount, frequency, trial eligibility and payment dates are displayed there before you agree.
Unless cancelled, a subscription renews automatically at its stated frequency. An eligible new subscription receives the 31-day free trial shown at checkout. After that trial, the chosen recurring charge starts on the date Stripe shows. An account that has already used a trial may be charged immediately as shown at checkout. Cancel before the trial ends if you do not want its first recurring charge.
Your account's Manage subscription button opens Stripe's secure portal to view the subscription, payment method and cancellation options. Cancellation is normally scheduled for the end of the current trial or billing period, with Premium available until the confirmed end date. The Cancellation & refunds page explains how to exercise statutory cancellation rights separately.
Payment issues
Premium access depends on the current subscription status. If a payment fails or remains unpaid, paid access may stop until it is resolved. The app checks Stripe status and provides a route to update payment details. Contact support if access or a payment appears incorrect. Ordinary subscription cancellation does not by itself delete your account or shared kitchen data.
Changes and availability
Technical problems and maintenance can sometimes affect the service. Features and recipes may be improved. We will explain material changes to paid terms or prices before they affect your subscription and provide the applicable cancellation options. Your statutory remedies for a service that is not supplied as agreed remain available.
Using recipes and app content
You may use the recipes available to your account for personal household cooking, print them for that purpose and share them with members of your household through the app's sharing features. This permission does not allow you to share account sign-in details or bypass Premium access controls.
Do not bulk extract or scrape the recipe catalogue, or resell or republish the app's protected recipe text, photographs or other protected content without permission, except where the law allows it. These terms do not claim ownership of ingredients, cooking ideas or techniques.
You retain any rights you have in your own recipes and data. This clause does not restrict using or exporting those materials, including through the app's backup features. If your own recipe includes someone else's protected content, their rights still apply.
Reasonable use
Use the service lawfully. Do not attempt to access another household without permission, bypass access or usage controls, disrupt the service or misuse its AI tools. Access may be restricted where necessary to deal with misuse or a security issue. Contact support if you believe a restriction is mistaken.
Governing law and resolving disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, this does not remove any mandatory protections that apply under the law of the country where you normally live. You may bring a claim in any court available to you under applicable consumer law; these terms do not require you to use only the courts of England and Wales.
Consumer rights and contact
These terms do not exclude or reduce statutory consumer rights, liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or your ability to bring a complaint in a court available under applicable consumer law. For service problems or payment queries, email support@greenleafcooking.com. Include your account email and relevant payment date, never your password or full card details.
